Triumph Motorcycle Ltd., the largest British motorcycle manufacturer, has a rich history dating back to 1902. Originally founded as Triumph Engineering Co Ltd in Coventry, the company quickly found success and began designing its own motorcycles by 1905. Triumph played a major role in both World Wars, supplying thousands of motorcycles to Allied forces. Despite financial struggles during the Great Depression and World War II, the brand gained popularity in the U.S., especially with the Thunderbird model featured in The Wild One. The company struggled in the '60s and '70s due to increased competition from Japanese brands and stricter U.S. import regulations, eventually going bankrupt in 1983. Entrepreneur John Bloor revived the brand, modernizing production by learning from Japanese manufacturers and building a state-of-the-art facility. Today, Triumph is thriving once again. To maintain your bike’s iconic look, Unicorp Auto Paints offers long-lasting, perfectly matched Triumph touch-up paint and application tools.
