Isuzu, originally a shipbuilding company, entered the automotive industry through early partnerships, including one with Wolseley Motors in 1918. The company officially became Isuzu in 1949 and focused on diesel engines and commercial vehicles, especially medium and heavy-duty trucks. Over time, it partnered with various automakers, but a significant alliance with General Motors helped expand its presence in the U.S., where it began selling vehicles under its own brand in 1981. Isuzu stopped selling cars in Asia in the late '90s and exited the North American market in 2009. Unicorp Auto Paints offers durable touch up paint to keep your Isuzu truck looking its best.
