Hummer, named after the civilian version of the military Humvee, gained fame during the Gulf War for its off-road capabilities. Originally produced by AM General for the U.S. military in 1985, it became available to civilians in 1992. GM acquired the rights to market Hummer in 1999, later introducing the H2 and H3 models, while the original was renamed H1. The H3 was the smallest and fully built by GM. Due to the 2008 financial crisis, GM discontinued the brand in 2010. Unicorp Auto Paints offers durable Hummer touch up paint to keep these rugged vehicles looking sharp.
